As a Airport Security Officer in Honolulu HI you will safeguard the airport staff and its facilities. Along with driving patrolling checking and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 1 years of security experience
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals public access areas parking locations and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic and report suspicious behavior unattended items and/or unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site protocols.
• Support security-related operations at a government location by providing directions assisting with crowd management and following post orders during routine activities and/or elevated response situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
