This role contributes to REI’s success by shaping the end ‑ to ‑ end experiences for store teams and by deeply understanding operational complexity and translating it into intuitive, efficient, and well ‑ crafted digital products. This role will work closely with product managers, engineers, program managers, and store partners to deliver solutions that make daily store work simpler, faster, and more reliable. This is a senior individual contributor role with high ownership, broad influence, and the opportunity to define where design has the greatest impact across store operations. Store Back of House technology directly impacts how efficiently and confidently store teams do their jobs every day. This role’s work will improve operational clarity, reduce friction, and help store teams focus on what matters most—serving customers.
This role will have the chance to shape foundational systems, influence long ‑ term product strategy, and raise the bar for design quality across store technology.
