As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului HI youll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers staff and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols engaging with the public and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility reliability and innovation always putting people first and acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour wit h an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• 21 years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check drug screening and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout terminals public areas restricted access points and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor access activity and report suspicious behavior unattended property hazards and/or unauthorized entry attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Support orderly operations by assisting with directions answering general questions and communicating with staff visitors and/or public agency representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
