POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Security Guard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, and Sisters. You will conduct patrols, monitor for security breaches, respond to emergencies, and maintain a vigilant presence to deter unauthorized access.
We are currently recruiting per diem shifts, that will include weekends and overnights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as a security guard or related field preferred.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
Integrity and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Valid state driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform security patrols of designated areas.
Identify and report conditions that may pose security concerns or safety hazards.
Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and calls for assistance.
Contact and coordinate with emergency services (police, fire, medical) as needed.
Monitor premises to detect unauthorized persons and prevent vandalism or theft.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities; prepare detailed reports.
Conduct inspections of emergency and safety equipment; ensure readiness and functionality.
Assist with obtaining parking permits and ensuring compliance with parking regulations.
Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the Director of Security.
Flexibility to work shifts other than assigned when necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment
The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
May require standing, walking, or patrolling for designated periods of time.
Occasional lifting or moving of equipment may be required.
