Job Description

Salary: $117,000 - 218,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience
• Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security clearance
• 3 years of experience in a Lead Software Engineer role, providing technical oversight on large software projects
• 5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including services like EC2, S3, AMIs, and VPCs
• 3 years of experience in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Ansible and/or Puppet
• 5 years of experience with open-source container technologies such as Kubernetes/Docker
• Preferred: Experience in technical leadership roles and product ownership within Agile frameworks
• Preferred: Amazon Web Services Certification
• Preferred: Microsoft System Administrator (MCSA) Certification
• Preferred: CompTIA Security+ or higher certification
• Preferred: Experience with Agile software development teams and regular release cycles
• Preferred: Familiarity with Platform One tools (Jira, Mattermost, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Preferred: Proven capability as a SAFe Product Owner for managing Agile processes

• Lead Software Engineer with an active involvement in software development, ensuring project quality and alignment with strategic goals
• Act as a Product Owner, facilitating Agile methodologies and ensuring high usability, functionality, and scalability of software products
• Engage in the design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications for large operational systems
• Provide coaching and training to other team members in the job area
• Implement moderate to significant improvements to processes and systems for enhanced performance
• Maintain effective communication within and outside of our organization, engaging with external parties as needed
