Responsibilities

• Operate a range of heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, and graders.
• Assist with manual labor tasks such as shoveling, trench work, and loading/unloading supplies.
• Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Be flexible and willing to assist in various areas of the project as needed.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and graders.
• Experience in fine grading is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS technology for equipment operation.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive team-oriented attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to submit to a drug test.
• Flexible availability for overtime and possible weekends.

Work Environment

Work takes place outdoors on civil development sites, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions. Expect a hot summer and a wet and cold winter. Safety and efficient task performance are paramount.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
