Job Description: Body Technician Company: KNeal Body Shop Location: Gaithersburg, MD Position Summary The Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and KNeal Body Shop’s commitment to quality. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every vehicle leaves our shop safe, structurally sound, and restored to pre-accident condition. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles according to written estimates and manufacturer guidelines
• Inspect parts against estimates to ensure accuracy and quality
• Prepare vehicles for body repair, including disassembly and setup
• Communicate with management regarding additional repairs or delays
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear in proper working condition
• Comply with OSHA, hazardous materials, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Operate all shop tools and equipment safely
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+years of collision repair or body technician experience, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of body repair techniques and vehicle construction
• Ability to read estimates and technical documentation
• Commitment to quality and safety

Preferred Certifications (not required)

• ASE Certifications
• I-CAR Training and Advanced Certifications
• Manufacturer and paint training
• Valid Driver’s License
