Job Description

Analytical Chemist Large Molecule responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Supports protein/antibody products by applying a variety of GMP analytical methodologies.
• Performs experiments data processing and presents results to internal departments and in technical reports.
• Communicates scientific findings provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetings.
• Contributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering organization chemical and equipment monitoring and maintenance.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience with size exclusion chromatography capillary electrophoresis capillary isoelectric focusing methods. Knowledge on Empower is required.
• Strong problem-solving and instrument trouble-shooting skill
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations.
• Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs technical reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in chemistry biology or other related degree concentration

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship indefinitely. 

• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Berkeley CA are encouraged to apply.
